Rolly is a big blue (exercise) ball. He lives with a family of humans and Bark, the dog. Rolly’s best friends are a grandfather clock, a Sofa, a dining table, a walking stick, and lots of other furniture friends (and even a microwave oven!). They talk and have fun together, but never when humans are around, as that is against the rules. One day a parcel is left on the doorstep. The parcel contains a new piece of furniture. Maybe all of Rolly’s friends are to be replaced with new furniture? Where will Rolly’s friends go to live? Should they all go and hide in the shed? Will Trolleyano from Milano, the leader of the shed gang, throw them out on the street? All these questions will be answered in this charming story that will delight 5 to 10-year-olds and teach them the moral ‘never assume’.
